Bhairavi is a heptatonic (consists of 7 notes) raga from the Hindustani music tradition. Many styles such as Thumri’s, Ghazals, Bhajans and light classical forms have many well known compositions in Bhairavi. Raag Bhairavi is often used to conclude many classical music concerts as well.

Raag Bhairavi is usually in sung in the early morning. It is best rendered when the sun rises.
